It is an ongoing relationship with an independent eyecare team who takes the time to know you, understand how you use your eyes and follow changes in your vision over time.
Our memberships and specialist programmes provide regular professional care, considered advice and carefully selected member privileges. Each has been designed around a particular stage of life or level of visual need, from individual and family eyecare to myopia management, visual stress and workplace vision.
Rather than treating each appointment as an isolated visit, we build a more complete picture of your eye health, comfort and vision.

Our specialist programmes provide a structured pathway of appointments, professional guidance and ongoing care. Each programme is individually managed, with recommendations based on clinical findings rather than a standard package.
The Myopia Legends Programme
Personally managed myopia care for growing eyes
Myopia Legends is our structured programme for children receiving active myopia management.
Myopia, commonly known as short-sightedness, often develops during childhood and can progress as the eye grows.
Standard spectacles correct blurred distance vision. Myopia management takes a broader approach, with the aim of reducing the rate at which a child’s myopia progresses.
Every child’s programme is individually planned. We consider their age, prescription, rate of change, eye health, family history, lifestyle and ability to manage the recommended treatment.
Myopia Legends includes
- Scheduled myopia management reviews
- Ongoing monitoring of vision and prescription
Assessment of myopia progression - Two pairs of eligible spectacles during each membership year
- Frames up to a value of £100 per pair
- Eligible myopia management spectacle lenses, where prescribed
- Accidental damage cover

- Guidance on outdoor time, close work and screen habits

The core Myopia Legends Programme starts from £45 per month and has a minimum term of 12 months.
Myopia treatment options and additional costs
A child’s myopia management programme may use one treatment or combine several approaches.
Options may include:
- Specialist myopia management spectacle lenses
- Specialist soft contact lenses
- Orthokeratology overnight lenses
- Low-dose atropine, where clinically appropriate and prescribed through the correct pathway
- Lifestyle and environmental changes
These options require additional products, clinical care, prescribing or specialist monitoring and are charged separately.
A hybrid approach may also be recommended. This means combining treatments where a single option may not provide the most appropriate strategy for the child.
A hybrid programme could include:
- Myopia management spectacles with atropine
- Orthokeratology with atropine
- Different forms of vision correction for school, sport, home or overnight wear
Where a hybrid approach is clinically appropriate, the monthly cost will be adjusted to reflect the treatments, lenses, appointments and monitoring included.
Before the programme begins, parents will receive a clear explanation of:
- The recommended treatment approach
- What is included
- Any additional treatment costs
- The revised monthly payment
- The review schedule
- What will be required at home
There is no single myopia management option that suits every child. The recommended programme and monthly cost will reflect the care designed for that individual child.
Continued support for visual stress and reading comfort
The Visual Comfort Programme
The HAYDENSWAN Visual Comfort Programme is for children and adults who require ongoing support following a Visual Stress Assessment.
Visual stress can make reading, studying and screen use uncomfortable. Text may appear unstable, crowded or distorted. Bright backgrounds, glare, patterns and contrast can make sustained close work difficult.
Some people experience:

Headaches or tired eyes
Glare from white pages or digital screens
Reduced reading comfort
Difficulty sustaining concentration
Visual discomfort when working with patterns or detailed text
Visual Comfort Programme privileges include:
- Scheduled visual stress review appointments

The Visual Comfort Programme costs £45 per month and has a minimum term of 12 months.
The initial Visual Stress Assessment is payable separately at £110 and lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Vision Wellness for Employers
The HAYDENSWAN Vision Wellness Programme helps employers take a more considered approach to workplace eyecare.
It is designed for businesses whose employees use Display Screen Equipment, carry out detailed close work, drive for work or experience visual discomfort during the working day.
Poorly managed vision can affect comfort, concentration, accuracy and confidence. Employees may continue working through headaches, blurred vision, tired eyes or neck and shoulder discomfort without recognising that their eyesight or working distance may be contributing.
Vision Wellness gives employers a structured way to support their teams while meeting their responsibilities around workplace eyecare.
Vision Wellness can include:
- Private eye examinations
- Employer contributions towards appropriate spectacles
- Support with DSE eyecare responsibilities
- Priority appointment access
- Employee welcome information
- HR communication materials
- Workplace vision education
- Webinars or in-practice screening sessions
- Support for employees experiencing screen-related discomfort
- Clear pathways into enhanced or specialist eyecare where required
Vision Wellness is separate from individual iTribe membership. Employees may still choose to join iTribe independently where they want broader ongoing eyecare and personal member privileges.

Is specialist myopia management included within Family iTribe?
No. Family iTribe includes routine eyecare, but active myopia management is provided through the separate Myopia Legends Programme.
How much does Myopia Legends cost?
The core Myopia Legends Programme starts from £45 per month.
Orthokeratology, atropine and hybrid treatment programmes carry additional costs.
The monthly payment will reflect the treatment, lenses and monitoring included in the agreed plan.
Can myopia treatments be combined?
Yes. A hybrid approach may be recommended where combining treatments provides a more suitable strategy for the child.
How much is the Visual Comfort Programme?
The Visual Comfort Programme costs £45 per month. The initial Visual Stress Assessment costs £110 and lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Does a Visual Stress Assessment diagnose dyslexia?
No. A Visual Stress Assessment explores visual comfort and symptoms associated with reading or screen use. It does not diagnose dyslexia or another learning difficulty.
What is Vision Wellness?
Vision Wellness is HAYDENSWAN’s employer eyecare programme. It supports businesses with private eye examinations, workplace eyewear contributions, DSE guidance and employee vision education.
Is there a minimum membership period?
Individual memberships and specialist programmes have a minimum term of 12 months. Where a membership is ended early, the value of appointments, products, eyewear or member privileges already received may become payable at the standard non-member rate. Full terms will be provided before joining.
